Team Genius Collaborative

Team Genius is an Educational Collaborative founded on the 5 C's: Curiosity, Creativity, Community, Connection, and Contribution. We combine Leadership Education, Project-Based Learning, Mentoring, and Servant Leadership to create not just a simulation that will prepare students for future real-world experiences, but a life experience that will teach students the true value of education in creating meaningful contribution - today AND in the future.

Tuition

Team Genius follows the Flipped Classroom. We offer three focus categories of learning for each developmental stage: Curiosity (including Science, Math, Writing, & Technology); Leadership (including Finance, Literature & Life Skills); and Entrepreneurship. Full-Schedule Tuition is $1,675 for students participating in all three educational areas. A la carte, tuition is $975 for Curiosity, $675-$975 for Leadership, and $375/semester for Entrepreneurship.

Curiosity, Ages 7-16

Our Curiosity focus will use the power of asking and answering questions to move students through an in-depth study that beautifully connects Science, Math, Technology, and Writing. From a love of learning perspective in our younger classes to a scholarship perspective in the older classes, we will incorporate Scientific texts, writing, interviewing, notebooking, researching, editing, presenting, living math, math facts, and related math concepts in a blended progression.

Leadership, Ages 7-16

Our Leadership focus will move students from thinking to doing through collaborative teams and networks. We will study heroes and leaders throughout history, identify our own unique genius and gifts, discuss foundational leadership principles and values - all moving students towards the application that makes it meaningfully come to life. From younger students learning through play and from teen guides to older students creating as teams, everyone will stand in their Genius as servant-leaders.

Entrepreneurship, Ages 7-16

Our Entrepreneurship class is a real-world model of discovering, honing, mentoring, and developing your unique Gen.i.Us and gifts. Through engaging collaborative discovery with Genius Guides and personalized discovery of your unique gifts and resources, you learn how to use those to add value to your communities and consistently grow into your own Genius Projects and, eventually, income-producing activities, services, and products.

How to Apply

We want to ensure students have a rewarding experience in our classes; therefore, interested families will need to watch a TED talk, read a book, and interview to make sure this is the right fit for their goals. See 2024-2025 Classes and the Registration Page for more information on joining us.
